I think rescue rants is more your style Fleecy!

9.5 miles in the rain at lunchtime. I too have a big grin on my face as a result. My name is CStar and I'm a runaholic :-)

Went for a pootle on my bike to get to the supermarket and it absolutely poured down. Luckily my shoes and jacket are pretty waterproof :-)

Had a productive day is getting rid of all the dust generated by the builders. They were pretty good at clearing as they went but you always get more settling the next day or so. I'll be off to have a bath in a mo, I may need sunglasses to counteract the glare of my gleamy tiles ;-)

Get well soon macapple! And I hope your knee behaves itself LD!

So are they finished now LN, bar the painting?

Still feel really rough but as their policy is to let them know of your next days intentions by 3pm the day before, I've said I'll be in tomorrow. Thing is at 2.30 when I emailed, I'd been sleeping all day and not using my voice at all so felt slightly better. Since then, I've collected the kids and talked to them (i.e. told them off repeatedly) and now feel rubbish again. Hoping a TV afternoon and early to bed will help me get through till finish time tomorrow.

Roll on the weekend.......

They just have the floor to fit but it's only vinyl tiles so shouldn't take too long or cause too much mess. I'll be doing the painting myself but it will probably take me a few more days to get the colour chosen etc.

I'd have a hot toddy if I was you macapple :-)

Been swimming. First swim of the year. Lol at the rescue rants.

Som - if the girl is a very young girl, and her Mum was very young when she had her, the Mum could just be within your age group.
