we have a path on one of our routes called Duck Walk, maybe we have been reading it wrong all these years, and this is an instruction rather than a location :-0 once it gets light out and we can go that way again will see how my runners feel about this.

turquoise is a good choice of colour for bathroom :-)

LN - completely forgot about autopause as I don't use it, but that would be perfect. I might give it a try tonight.

Lunch was scrummy, and chatty, and a welcome break from the office.

Legs feel much better today. I'm thinking of changing my schedule so that I incorporate parkrun into my LSR. It'd mean breaking the run up, as I usually have to drive to/from parkrun (I often take other people who wouldn't be up to running much further than 5k), but it would also mean that eveything gets done on Saturday and I have Sunday free. I think the whole family would welcome that.

It's good to keep yourself and the family happy, Paula. Sounds like a plan to me :-)

I have done intervals and there is banana bread in the oven.

Paula, that's what I decided to do before I got injured. I did it one week, and it worked v well for me. I think lots of others do it, too.

It also means I get to have a lie in on Sunday mornings and watch The Bridge in bed. This is most definitely a Good Plan. And some weeks I won't have to drive so I can run there and back which makes it even better.

Banana bread. Yum. Oh yum yum yum. I have some ginger curd in the fridge that would go perfectly with a slice of banana bread. I'm really hungry again now!

I have to admit that my heart did a little skip when I realised the bananas were past their best and that banana bread had to be made.

I love a good paint chart :-)

I also love painting little blocks of different colours everywhere when we are trying to decide on a new colour scheme. Sometimes big blocks of colours. My living room and hall currently both look like this. I don't know why the rest of my family think this looks untidy.

I have decided my flat will be redecorated over the next few months.

I look forward to paint charts and getting paint in my hair (and elsewhere) :-)

I love paint charts too - but the paints never quite come out the colour I expect from the chart :(

that duck wak is brutal, I managed three steps before toppling over slo-mo sideways :)

I think I shall do an extended yoga and stretch session this evening, - but first I need to walk the dog and make something for dinner
