MDF there are 3 more after this weeks, next weeks is local (lightwater) the week after is Ruislip a bit of a trek, and the final one they haven't put up a location for yet

Thought you could have palmed me a top ten token this week ;-)

Are you still going to do Wokingham Molesy? , but make Fleet your target race?

You didn't make it worth my while, Phil :)
I think I'll do Lightwater, since it's local.

Glad it's not a stress fracture Moles :-)

I was surprisingly tired last night, in bed by 10 and didn't get up until 9 this morning. Feel a lot better today.

Hope everyone who parkran this morning had a good run. Is there really no one racing tomorrow?

Morning all :-)

Brockwell parkrun this morning, my legs (esp hamstrings) were knackered after the last week of proper sustained activity, so I took it easy. Very busy - all the New Year Resolutionists and marathon training peeps were out in force, I suspect. Lovely to see so many people.

17 miles in the pipeline tomorrow. I shall be taking it rather slowly ...

Is it ok to run with doms? I presume it is, but my legs are really sore, hurts just sitting down :-)

Good luck winyour 17 Paula, 14 down for me tomorrow ..

Got a surprise this morning very icy underfoot. I was out in local woodland putting up birdboxes. Now in Sainsbury's car park where we stopped to get food before heading for St Andrews beach.

Lunchtime catch up :-)

Only a single commute today (will be running home) as I was in the shop at midnight as the burglar alarm went off. Didn't get a whole heap of sleep so opted for an extra 40 minutes in bed instead of the run in.

Enjoy your running, everyone :-)

*hums Chariots of Fire* sounds lovely RR!

I only did half a mile in the pool this morning. I just wasn't feeling the love and I could see what a fantastic morning it was outside, so went home, collected the dog and took her up on Cleeve Hill for a walk. We have a Saturday morning club run up there every week and I thought that although I might not be able to run it at least I could walk the route. It was superb :-) Clear enough to see right over to the Sugar Loaf and Pen-y-fan in Wales, cloudless blue sky, hardly any wind and lots of birdsong.

Then I got a text from son1 to say that there'd been a record turnout at parkrun this morning, and that he'd got a good PB - he's down to 23:22 now which is not bad for someone who does no other exercise apart from parkrun!

Lovely lovely parkrun this morning. Rosie, I didn't see you - where were you? I need to study your profile pic closely. Billy Whizz had a great first pr and wants to go every week and get a T shirt.

Hip feels fine if a bit twingy but I'm on max dose painkillers so how would I know?? Really want to get out and run some more but will be good. MIght try a swim tomorrow.

Well done all that have run, and good luck to those yet to run.
