Or wiping with a heron.

Get well soon, CarpCheeks - I've had a sore coccyx for a couple of months if it's any consolation...

Morning all.

Good day/weekend planned:

Today: half day at work (hooray!); meeting hubby for lunch at our favourite [not-so]greasy spoon cafe, will have ham, eggs and chips; then an afternoon of thinking and planning and talking to people about things we are going to do in the future.

Tomorrow: Peckham Rye 10k with Ed, with added pootling there and back, then another 10 miles around the sunny streets of South East London; afternoon lazing on the sofa; out with friends in the evening.

Sunday: long dog walk, possibly pub lunch if I can organise it, not sure what in the afternoon. Hubby will be in the pub watching football and I'll either join him or find something cultural to do.

Monday: not a clue. Let's see what happens.

Stomach still a bit unsettled today but nothing that gives me any worries. Should be good for tomorrow. If not there's always the runner's friend, immodium. I'd rather not have to wipe my nether regions with any small animals this weekend.

Mr AL has (another) part-time job to add to his portfolio (making 4 in total) - lecturing at Edge Hill University on their MA in Education :)
Off to buy champagne as we start the longest 50th Birthday celebration *ever* tonight ;)

Wasn't it Rabelais who said something about using a swan's neck as the best -ahem - toliet paper? *goes off to check*

Ah, nearly correct, the neck of a goose. Such a sophisticated nation, the French :-)

Good news AL :) have fun celebrating.
LD, I wouldn't suggest using a goose if the ones near here are anything to go by. They guard a pond and on at least one occasion have made my mum take another route!

No geese or swans but bazillions of bluebells on my run. 3 miles of gentle running. Apparently my ankle pain is something to do with POSE.

So after some coaching I hope it is almost recovered. I will see tomorrow if I can walk on it!

Geese are scary critters!

I have Zumba'd. Really enjoyed it, not as scary as the first time and I was even occasionally able to do something with my arms as well as my legs :)
