didn't get on last night and wondered why I could smell chaffing, ouch poor Bint, I hope you are ok today xxx

I have been inspired by all your chat of bluebells and will dig out the old kanadias and go for a bimble round the woods tonight (disclaimer - may not happen if its tipping it down or blowing a hoolie)

yes, RR. tea and *taper*
I couldn't care less if it rains, I like running in the rain :) Hopefully it'll fine up tonight though as I'm visiting another group and I think beginners might be scared away by rain.

RR - Are you racing round MK or plodding? In other words, do we need to bet on you getting a PB?

My ultra is 'only' 30 miles so a baby one to break me in gently. It will be SLOW but hopefully fun. I have a 38 mile hilly ultra in June :-0

Morning all.

LD - my Mum does choir and did a flash mob last year. She LOVED it. I say flash mob.

To all those racing soon - YOU HAVE TO REST! Go for a walk or gentle swim or something. *primes Sharktopus*

5 miles this morning. Despite lovely weather it was ugly. Had no energy and heavy legs and took loads of walk breaks. Do you think I'm upping my mileage too quickly? I note that I went from 55 in March to 81 in April. Opinions, please.

Am planning only pr and possibly another 3 miles or so this weekend. And away next week so probably only one short-ish run for the sake of the Conquecise zones ninja
