Do parkruns count? - Not that I've done any, but may have the opportunity while in ThatLondon visiting new grand-daughter.

If I do one it'll be Finsbury Park, as Youngest Son and his girlfriend are doing that one regularly. I understand it has hills.

ah well, you're used to hills living in Wales Columba!
No idea on the 13 miles, RR. Even never having done a marathon it sounds a bit excessive?

I think 13 is a little far. I just checked my taper for Kent last year. It wasn't an ideal taper as I ran BUPA 10k 5 days before but my last long-ish run was a week before and was 10 miles at MP.

You should definitely get out there though :-)
