On the plus side it does mean not having to run in the traffic and they have made an effort to brighten them up with lots of paintings and good lighting. Bracknell has been much improved recently - particularly by the knocking down of most of the town centre. Vastly better. Gives it a certain post apocalyptic, 'Terminator' chic, with a very nice Waitrose perched incongruously on the edge.

The centre could have done with a good apocalypse last time I visited. The only time I've had a crash on a bike was in an underpass in Bracknell. With another cyclist. We both went to avoid each other and missed!

Carpy, glad your better now. Presumambly 3 Lindors is the cure for all ills? It wouldn't be any good for me though, as I have to have only dairy-free stuff. Did 2.75 miles this morning. I've been back running for a week now, and all seems OK at the moment. G'night all.

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
