Hello LN, I wondered if work was keeping you away :-( I've had a couple of instances when my good knee has gone odd - I wondered if it was a result of the poorly knee or whether it was (in my case anyway, not yours) just anno domini.

I did a sort of tempo run this morning. Basic rookie error was no gentle warm-up, in fact no warm-up at all, so after 2 miles I was knackered. I then turned it into a sort of interval session for a mile. The net result was I found it all very hard, yet the time taken was slower than my last 2 parkruns, which didn't feel so hard. Sometimes I don't understand running at all :-(

If you don't fancy it, then don't do it, FML. Run for pleasure, not because you 'ought' to.

I've found that the slower my warm-up, the better the run. I actually run/walk most of the first mile nowadays, it makes speedwork so much easier! Though it makes it hard to run with my friend who adopts a 'run like crazy' first few miles before slowing down :)

I have also resorted to chocolate today but for myself rather than my offspring. :-)

who was the chocolate for, him or you? :)
I have had a really boring but productive day. I think I need a drink. Mr fleecy is away so I may even watch some telly. There's a novelty!
