Hi everyone. Yes I'm still in the land of the living/surviving. This morning I had my 2nd very gentle run after my hip problem; not completely pain free but nearly there. Sorry to have neglected my Fetch Family - I do still care you know. At the moment I'm about 10% behind target. That's what 5 weeks of no-running does, and to think I was modestly ahead of target!

I hope none of you have suffered too badly as a result of my deplorable neglect. But the 700ers are a very resilient crowd of course.

Morning all :)

thanks for the sypathy - I don't think it's anything serious, just a bit of fottballer-style "groin strain" combined with a sore ITB, being fatigued desite big taper and mainly a crocked headspace.

When youngest woke me before 6 shouting at his friends through the xbox I considered trying a little run - but getting downstairs was still uncomfortable, so it's another day with the stick, foam roller and ibuprofen ( and giving youngest a ast SATS paper to do as reenge/revision )

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2014 thread. Here is the groups link: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/groups-view.php?id=1147

All you have to do is run about 1.92 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
