whilst I've been otherwise engaged for the past fortnight - no nearly 3 wks! jobs like cleaning th kitchen floor have been delegated/forgotten. It has taken me and hour with the steam ceaner and a mop to get the top layer of muck off. Just haing a rest whilst the mop heads get a quick wash in the machine then I'm going to do it again!

not pre marthon resting :( should be sitting in the garden with a book!

My kitchen floor needs doing too, RH, if you want to pop round.

I am throwing caution to the wind and going for a run. It is such a beautiful day and I don;t want to waste it.
Plan is 5 miles slow.

In vest and shorts :-)

Lovely weather outside here too.

Have had nearly 3x as much sleep as Carp, but still not enough for me. Am shattered and grumpy. Nothing a run won't cure but unfortunately am paying penance for Zurich so no running for me until pr Sat.

Hope you all have a good day.

Talking about racing people as you were earlier, I once overtook someone who ran as part of our slow training group towards the end of a 5k race. I was chatting to someone after it had finished and saying I felt a bit guilty that I didn't stop and run with her. He said not to bother as she'd been telling people in the pub the night before that she wouldn't come last because "at least I'll beat LN" :-O Cheeky mare!

Cstar, can you kidnap Mark Cavendish for me? I'll promise I'll take good care of him ;-)

Working late tonight and really not looking forward to it. Will be here until past 11pm and either my havfever is getting out of control or I coming down with something.

Tomorrow will probably be a super lazy day and then I'll be helping out at our tiny parkrun again on Saturday.

Happy BH Weekend everyone! :-)

*shocked face* at LN's story! Terrible running etiquette.

My conquercise zones have not updated. Am cross now (it doesn't take much today).

Ok - am going to do some work. Set sharktopus on me if you see me before this evening.
