I don’t know how the hell I did it but I just ran a 41:04 10k for a 73.78 WAVA. Was ready for throwing the towel in at the 5k mark due to a bad headwind, but gritted my teeth and stuck with it. Considering that it’s my first proper go at a 10k in two years, it’s given me hope that I might be able to go sub 40 if I can find the right race within the next six months or so! |

Just realised I got a 70 wava at parkrun today, even up to 71 depending on which figures you believe. So a 70 at 10k and 5k this year on the come back trail🙂
