1500 IS only 3 and 3/4 laps. Easy for a distance runner! Just like a warm up! ;-)

I ran an 800 a couple years ago... and walked the back straights! That's how much of a sprinter I am. Far too long!

My lack of running anything over 150m for the past few months has even told on my 100ms. I MUST re-introduce 200-300 over winter.

It's alright working on my speed and block starts (which are much improved) - but if I can't sustain the speed over one bloody straight it's a poor show!

Thanks. Will be interested in the effect on the wava, if any. Won't be chasing too much for a month as have a couple of half marathons starting with Great North Run next weekend.

I do admit this is more a focused running/training/related stuff than the 50s one. That was my intention anyway.

But it has to be FUN or why bother?
If you get to 60 and are doing something just cos you think you 'should' then something's up!

I did it! I wasn’t last and I didn’t have a panic attack. Missed the age prize by 6/100ths of a second. Quite pleased with self.
