21:24 for me on Sunday. First road race since 2018 and not a bad mark after more than a year off running and then back running a bit since July last year. No watch so just ran to feel.

Hoping to find another 5k in 8 weeks or so to have another go after another few weeks of track training.

that's a great time! congratulations! I'm sure you'll get a sub 21 then. 8 weeks of training make a lot of difference.

I did a virtual Pride Day 5k on Saturday, got 21:58 so not bad at all. I did 22:43 9 weeks ago so 45 seconds off.
21:20 is my PB from 2016 so I'm getting closer. I really hope we get back to IRL races soon. I need the competition, especially for the last 2 km. This is when I slow down if I don't have someone to chase.

Nice work tipsku

Races here are still 'covid secure' so mostly a time trial as set off on rolling starts and small fields. Still better than virtual imo, 45 seconds off in 9 weeks is good going.

I've been really struggling to find a suitable 5k race which is annoying. They all seem to be lumpy or without course certificate, but still £20 or at crazy times at the moment. Sigh.

Might see if any open 5000m are around, but laps is hard! 😂😂
