July 13th 20.29. I've not done a lot of running over the last 3 months and ran a hard 22.15 today, wow that was hard. I probably could have ran harder but that was hard enough. I guess I've got to start building up my base again before starting spring marathon training. |

Just to update , got down to 21 03 last year and have posted 21 16 already this year . Really hopeful of sub 21 now ,tho' it remains a major barrier ...

22.26 most recently for me, i also did a 5 x 1k VO2 max session at 6.57 pace so i think i am edging close to a sub 22 time. 6 x 1k at target 5k pace is supposed to be a good predictor workout.

Should've said on my last post, after years of trying to get sub 21, I did it twice at Strathclyde Park Parkrun then Greenock Parkrun with weeks.
