Well my miles didnt increase I still have a horrid cold/bug and just getting dressed seems like doing a half! So all I can do is try again next year. That said I will have about 6wks out for my op but with any luck I'll be fighting for and raring to go after it. I'll take the opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year hoping that it's happy, healthy and injury free. |

Well I finished the year on 366 miles. Not great but I did finish on 71.2 miles for swimming and 141 miles cycling which is better than previous years. Hopefully next year will be an improvement on them on. I would like to wish all of the 500 club a very Happy, healthy and Prosperous New Year. Here is to 2015 and us all achieving those desired goals xx |

Well done all who made it. Sympathy to those who (also) spent time on the injury bench! This is where I ended up... Swim - 22/20 miles - 109.4% 2015 target = 40 miles Bike - 1263/750 - 168.4%. 2015 target = 1500 miles Run - 293/500 - 58.7 % 2015 target= 500 miles and no darned foot injury, or stopping running to do bike training. Do both! Thought I'd nearly made 300 but a couple of walks had snuck in as runs so changed them. Too nippy to do 5 miles yesterday outside, so did a circuit indoors instead. Slowly going to ramp up the miles now, targetting the Bramley 10 mid-Feb, and hopefully make a cross country before the end of the season. 2 half decent parkruns mean I should be good for that! Happy New Year folks! |

Failed miserably, my running fell apart in the last quarter due to little injury niggles and too much work. Think its time to realise that the longer distances are too much for me now. Going to concentrate on the shorter distance up to 10k, try for 3 shorter training sessions a week and see how it goes.
