Sorry to hear of your loss Ev, hope your family is ok. Glad you have had a good time despite the sadness.

Lovely time had a geordietowers, I got myself back to bootcamp today and loved it. Just need to keep at it and not get dragged down too much with this darn exam.

Strut that is close enough to manage I'm sure, just take it steady.

PPB that is reason enough not to hit target, I have decided to take what comes and not stress about it (although I have to repeat this mantra regularly)

Right back to civil litigation, I'd much rather be doing something nice - even battling this crazy weather would be preferable (although maybe not it sounds like a Wizard of Oz production in our garden)

'Lo everyone I've signed up for jantasic 2014 and the Fetch team by the name of Neil before me (Nellers team)

If anyone would like to sign up - you enter your own goals but I think the plan is;

To run at least 3 times per week
To always run on a Monday
To leave no more than 3 days between a run

I've signed up to do 4 x runs per week during January as I want to start running before work at least twice a week so this will be my encouragement out the door.

Il get the 2014 thread sorted before Tuesday. Nose stuck in Personal Injury claims today.

I never made 500 miles this year again Mostly because I fell out of love with running in 2013 but seemed to have got it back through December. I have decided that I am not going to set myself running/swimming target this year and see how things go. Will pop into the new thread for 2014 for some motivation and I will make sure I am a regular visitor unlike 2013 :-)

Pesto - it must be what they decided I should do, it came up on the list when I went in to see what it was about. (you know me and technology lol)

Kimbles - even if you don't have a target be good to still see you on here and log your races (if you do any) I also failed the 500 this year, due to the injury in July, then being bogged down with everything that I also fell out of love with running.

If anyone has any other ideas of what might help to motivate them at the ^^ please let me know.

I am determined not to get bogged down with work crap next year, the house is (almost) done and that will free up some time once I've put things back where they are to belong or got rid of them if not needed :) My main goal for 2014 therefore is to enjoy life - its too short not too.

500.5 miles yay!!!!!!! Well chuffed as it really didn't look like it was going to happen back in July! Heel pain is back though so going to rest up now until my race next Sunday.

All in all been really pleased with this year's running, it's the largest total I've managed for 10 years and I've managed to lose two and a half stone in the process. Additionally my love of running has been reignited and it's in no small part down to Fetcheveryone and this thread in particular, so thanks to you all!
Great to see you back on here Kimbles and PM, see you all again in 2014. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Strut well done on your miles!!! And I think you can afford to rest up and hope that heel fixes. I have updated the 500 in 2014 thread and added your race already :) Great result on the weightless too, I would love to kick a few lbs off next year myself.
