well done Rosco

I passed my revised target and highest ever mileage of 2400 for the year. I'll be more sensible next year

I nearly hit 4000km, but only realised too late that enticing round number was so close. I think I end on 3971km.

Well done all. I reduced my target to 1900 miles, which I should cross today (4 miles to go), just too much discomfort when running and tightness to want to push it further. I now have a turbo trainer and Zwift which could either reduce next year's mileage, or increase it, as it has definitely helped with the tightness and I am currently running with less discomfort.

SteveC amid the winters snow
I managed to hit my revised target of 80 km/week and ended on 4216 km for the year, making 80.9 km per week. I think it was all outdoors, IIRC. That is also my highest for a year.

I'm not sure that a goal mileage is my thing for this year - I'm concentrating on speed for a tilt at London GFA - but thanks to everyone for being here for this one last year. I blew through 2020 miles with a few weeks to spare (lockdown was good for that at least) and the league table was a frequent source of inspiration. It isn't always about joining in the chat, but it is about knowing that there are others out there facing the same hill as you, knowing that others will succeed and knowing that you can do that too.

Good luck in your 2021 aims.
