A miss for me as well as this has not been a good year injury-wise. Should finish with 22xx. I'm still not 100% but getting there.

Well done to everyone that made this target and good luck for 2018.

Last social 13 miler done this morning and a good way to finish the running year. Nothing exceptional but 2535 miles is a solid effort and did include 52 marathons in 52 weeks.

Well done to all, whether you achieved the target or not. Be proud of your efforts, all just arbitrary numbers anyway.

Nice effort Paul. Did you do 1 one a week or were there some multiples in there and free weeks ?

A good year for me and I comfortably beat my target and beat my previous annual best by about 400 miles. Still not good enough to get on the first page of the training league though :-(

Claypole, it wasnt really a big change and more the fact that I only had one week out injured all year whereas I have lost about a month in each of the last 3 years which when added to time to build back up accounts fro most of the 400 mile step up

Baz - inevitably some multiples to achieve this but now not planning any more doubles. Plan for 2018 and beyond is average of 2 a month. 8 to go for 300 and a place on the World rankings and then numbers are pretty immaterial. If the move to Scotland plan comes off then pastures new will help maintain the motivation. Toying with a target of 3000 for 2018 as I have never tried this, not sure.

6.5 miles recovery run clearly not very impressive !
