38.5 for me on a cut-back week. :-0 A couple of months ago that would have been a big week!

Everything went exactly to plan. I'm just a bit worried that next week might be slightly interrupted given that we've got a couple of inches of snow and it's still going. Maybe the dreadmill will get some more use.

I'm racing next Saturday- first for 2013- so there might be some cutting back on miles but not speedwork.

I'm planning an easy week before my 12 week marathon plan kicks in. I have my first race of the year as well on Sunday, the Lliswerry 8 in Newport. Fast, flat and hopefully on clear roads.

32.4 miles on a cut back week for me so still ahead. :)

If all goes to plan, I should clock up 40 miles next week if I stick to my marathon plan. Never run 6 days in one week before so it will be a mental test more than anything.

I'll call mine a cutback week too then:-) Might need to think about early morning runs this week. Things happening in the evenings have meant too many dropped sessions in the past fortnight and it has been intervals and tempo runs that have been hit. The key sessions getting chopped: very annoying. Think I'm still on track for the month though.

It was all going so well until I got up Sunday ready for my long run feeling a bit below par. Now that's not unusual for an early start on a Sunday so I got going expecting to feel better when I'd warmed up.

Except I didn't. 4 miles in I turned for home and about 2 miles from home as I'd slowed to a walk I rang Mrs Nellers to come and get me.

And I've been in bed feeling fluey pretty much since then. So that's my 18 miler out, and I don't think I'll be doing the 20 that's planned for this Sunday unless things improve dramatically.

I'm still a bit ahead of plan but that won't last long. Hopefully it'll pass and I'll be back out there later in the week.

Sorry to hear that Nellers. I hope it passes quickly. High dose vitamin C and zinc supplement might boost recovery time. Hope you're back on your feet soon.

Take it easy Nellers. Don't come back until you feel better, I've made that mistake far too often in the past.

Tempting, though. Times ticking and Brighton is only getting closer.

You're absolutely right, though. Get better, then run better.
