Brother in law has me doing a short fell race (possibly in elf t-shirt) tomorrow so may keep in touch with the 1500 line!

Merry Xmas fetchies and hope you all had a restful day with your families

I completed first run πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ since last months marathon, 10k. Been so swamped with work on the wards, we have an outbreak of covid and shortage of staff 😬😬😬😳😳😳😣😣😣😣 so running has taken a back seat for almost 5 weeks but it’s good to pound the streets this quiet morning and get the mileage in the bag even in the rain β˜”οΈ

Merry Christmas, Toks. Sounds like it's been a tough time. Hope the colleagues struck down with covid are recovering well. x

Good work Toks, BIL is a Paramedic and said similar.

Snow of the tops at the Fell Race, it was a personal worst on that course, but goid fun, even when the inflatable Santa passed me on the steepest climb.

Sounds exhausting Toks. The last term at school was grim, at one point we had 30% of pupils off with Covid (two of my year 10 classes had only students in school), so we were all trying to teach online and in person at the same time... we had so may staff off sick that all our non contact time was taken for cover. I've never known so many teachers so tired and cranky!

Next term will, hopefully, be better...

In running news - just 2 miles to go to make it to 2021miles....
