I'll start with end of year musings then shall I? 2011 - well the 1st quarter of the year started of bad, ill health and terrible marathon times, disapointed at my time for the Liverpool Half Llanelli showed me that I could run better and in hot sunny conditions, enjoyed Brathway and at Wolverhampton Shadow whipped me around the course to get a pb - looked forward to the Liverpool Marathon and did'nt think I'd do anything special - only wnet and got my time down the 4hrs & 5 minutes. Last race of the year was Conwy Half and again I improved my course time from last year. Slipped in an ultra during June - enjoyed it Met some great Fetchies this year and of course a big thank you for all those on this thread - and for putting up with my endless drivel - early mornings at that:) Looking forward to 2012 and having ago at improving my marathon times and cracking my 1st 50 miler - need to tell the other half about that! Love you all, you are all mad as hatters (which in my opinion is OK) *NINJA* |
