Glad the wee man seems ok Lesley. Heck I feel somewhat behind when I see you ten miler folks doing so well.. you and hs! Nice running.
A good two place up the board LL! No matter how!! I haven't looked to see where I languish but after a half mile walk and two mile walks I tried out my foot this morning. Yippee, it was fine for a single mile and tomorrow I'll start creeping up further.

Good news Steve that your foot has improved, and you are starting to up your mileage again.

This morning was the Wednesday training session in the forest with 2 running friends. We ran 4.94 miles which included 2 sets of 2 minutes hard, 30 seconds hard x3.

That's good, Steve. :-)

Wish I was in the forest, hilstrider! It sounds much more fun than my keyboard and screens today.

Sounds like you're safer in an office than anywhere else currently 3M.

Marky, the forest is still relatively mud free on many of the trails. It was minus one degree, but thankfully no icy winds. I'm still wearing shorts, but wearing a woolly hat.

HS, I'm still in shorts - not just running but generally as well - and twice now I've worn my bright yellow Karrimor Beany, which has kept my head very warm. I expect to start covering up my legs for running sometime in December, for a few months.

Steve, it's good that your foot is feeling better. I hope you are able to return to running regularly now. I expect your wife will be pleased too, as you are probably like a bear with a sore head when you are on the bench.

I did my weekly Long Run today - just 8 miles, but that's quite long for me!

Some patches of black ice out there this morning, wasn't prepared for it. It's been really cold this week.

98 miles to go 🙂.

Glad your foot is getting better Steve.

I would rather be in the forest than the office any day.

Thanks for the good wishes re my foot folks. Looks like it's fixed now but I always take the road/trail back slowly and steadily after an injury of any sort now that I'm old! Did 2.2miles this morning, ..
in shorts....!! doubling up on the 1.1 yesterday. Luckily Evangel I'm not like a sore headed bear when injuries strike, I just put running on the back burner and enjoy other stuff. When I raced and younger I certainly did get frustrated and I'm sure that if I hadn't reached my target I would be like that bear!
