Great result LL! I can imagine your feelings as you approached the finish line knowing you'd "done it". Nothing better than a plan that works out!
Still no running yet for me. I'll maybe try a walk later, if it's ok I'll do a half mile on Tuesday, a mile Wednesday and if all's well get back to the trail!

That’s a shame Steve. I wish you well soon.

Thanks everyone.

I only checked my watch when the miles beeped but had an idea my overall pace was ok. I didn’t want to look and panic.

I checked at 12 and managed my quickest mile to make sure I got under.
It’s not my quickest but it’s my highest age one..

Well done LL! Glad you managed under target.

The wee man's cold isn't as bad as he has had in the past, he just won't sleep when he's supposed to. Still mad at 11pm is starting to get annoying.

I did 10 miles in a local forest with some other fetchies yesterday. It was bloody cold. 16 degrees Thursday/Friday and then dropped to 3. It was nice to see them though as I haven't seen them in ages.

I hope you are soon back running again Steve!

Well done LL in achieving your highest age half marathon time. All my pb's are way back when I was in my forties, so any pb's nowadays would be age categories ones.

Good to hear Lesley that the wee man's cold isn't as bad as in the past.
Well done for your 10 miles in the forest with other fetchies yesterday.

This mornings run was 7.13 miles in the forest with two running friends.

Nice one HS.

Glad the little man not too bad Lesley.

Nice to get 10 miles with company.

Hope your foot is improving Steve.
I did a little 3 and a bit in a lovely park away from home legs a bit heavy but nothing hurts.
I seem to have jumped up the leaderboard I think 2 people who joined have left.

Thanks LL.

A good idea to do a short recovery after a race.
That's good that you have jumped up the leader board.

There's no chance of me catching the two above me.

HS I think the 2 above me came and went as I dropped then regained my place.
