Good to hear of more and more people getting their second shot.

Don't you go licking anyone just yet though, Evangel! ;-) Hope it doesn't slow you down any (literally or figuratively).

I took the following days after both my jabs as days off running too Evangel. I had no side effects at all though. Luckily my jabs were local, a long drive seems a bit of an administrative error although some people in Cardiff were sent out if the city for theirs!
Chilly morning again but ok for an easy five miler.

I'm still waiting for my first jab, looks like I'll be waiting a while longer.

Almost 5 miles with the buggy this morning, was quite breezy. He fell asleep. Pleased with it after my intervals yesterday.

Just had a phone call from the Dr's Surgery, my 2nd jab will be on Thursday April 15th, at the Leisure Centre down the road.

Well done Lesley, that's a good run with the buggy. How old is your son now?

Jayfire, I had a days rest after my first jab, but didn't have any after effects. I had the Oxford one.

GG, after my 2nd jab yesterday, I had no side-effects except that my arm was more sore than it was last time. However, today I had a significant headache and sinus pain, and this afternoon I slept heavily for 2 hours+. I had decided not to run today, and I'll just see how things are tomorrow.

Today, we were on the way to see our chiropractor, when my wife had a phone call from a doctor at our GP practice, about an ECG result. We had to cancel our appointments, go straight home and phone 999 (a new experience), so that a paramedic could come and check her over. He was with us for about 2 hours, and the verdict was that her heart is fine, which we really expected. The chests pains are still unexplained, but she will see or speak to a doctor in a couple of days.
