Well done Evangel, a nice distance.

Take care Lesley on the black ice.

A steady 6 mile road run with a running friend this morning 🏃‍♀️🏃

Nice running Evangel and HS.

I can’t risk any ice with my weak bones.

I’ll revert to the dreadmill if it’s slippery.

Out of the trees for a change for your 6 hs. Must be quite noisy compared with the natural sounds of the forest.
Wise thinking LL which anyone really should take on board I suppose. I decided a couple of years ago to be far more careful if there was ice on pavements or roads, I'm not going to take an unnecessary fall for the sake of a few miles.
Foot is fine now! Did 5k and just managed to see without head torch on trails. I'm hoping simply to do more miles than last year which should be easy peazy with only forty to go!

I try to mix and match my runs Steve. I know runners who trained exclusively off road, and struggled with road races.

Good news that your foot is fine now and that you were able to run 5k on trails this morning.

Good luck with your attempt to exceed last year's annual mileage.

Today was a rest day for me, but tomorrow's run should be interesting in the forecasted gale force winds. We were thinking of doing a "speedy" trail 5k, but watch this space 🥴

We have had snow showers today, it's blowing a gale outside at the moment. More likely tomorrow. Will wait till Sunday for my long run I think.
