Bright and early yesterday Mrsb! My usual time. 17c at 6am this morning but felt ok for just 5k.

Cheers FF.
Good distance there Dave, cooler... rain too!

Had the cba's this morning so I seem to be stuck on 3 runs a week currently and they're mostly back to back.

It was so hot this morning, but I did the usual Saturday 5k challenge, with a twist. We were asked to run it differently from our usual one. I ran mine with continuous laps round a field. I set of much too quickly and struggled in the heat. It was one of my slowest this year.

FF, one way to find the lost mojo, is to set yourself completely new targets, different to what you've had before, focusing on different distances.

I sety of a bit earlier this morning and did my 'Long Run' of 8.50 miles.

I've got a 'race' tomorrow. Was going so that I could support a friend in a GFA attempt (he is running spectacularly well at the moment, getting GFA times over all the hills near us). He was going to do the marathon, I was going to drop out after 16 but hang around to act as a one person aid station for him, but the heat and the social distancing requirements (including a 150m section that must be walked on each 3.25 mile lap) mean that we are probably just going to treat it as a survival attempt!

If you don't hear from me tomorrow it is because I have melted!

Good luck MrsB, keep hydrated, this weather is very debilitating!
