Well done all who hit the target this year and never mind if you didn't quite make it. I'm in the failed miserably camp but I'll be back to try again next year.

1000.07 miles for me. Very pleased with that, my aim all along was to get as close to 1000 as I could (in the past, high mileage has led inexorably to injury, so I didn't want to overdo it).

Thank you to everyone that's been involved the this thread this year. Thank you Lesley for setting it up and administering it for us all.

Congratulations and commiserations depending on which side of the line you are.

After 2017's total of 1349 miles I've absolutely amazed myself this year with a massive 1738 miles.

Happy New Year to one and all and see you on the new thread Lesley has once again set up for us all. heart

May I wish everyone here a very happy new year, and if possible an injury-free year, with lots of PBs & no PWs!

With different periods of injury, I kept changing my mileage target in order to be realistic. My final target was 1000km (621.4 mls) in 2018, which I accomplished with a 5 mile run yesterday the 31st December. In fact my total was actually 621.5 mls.

Finished up just over 700 miles.

After being ill in March / April time, I'm pretty pleased with that :-)
