I've learnt that noone on this thread misses the 100 mark out of laziness; there's always a genuine reason. My better-than-average November went rapidly downhill in the last week when the hamstring injury that kept me on the bench in the summer started grumbling again. Back then I took the lowest road possible and kept running through the injury until it floored me completely; this time I took the high road and stopped running. I'm resigned to a rubbish December, but I've decided if I have to choose between the two, I'd rather start January fully fit than hobble through December to chase a target.
