They got very upset with the front runners (Mark Sleeman????) getting impatient in Pathfinder last year. They are great events and very useful if you need numbers, especially over the summer and depths of winter, it's just a personal thing, they don't feel like proper marathons to me. I think it's because they're not races, it's the competitive element that makes it more like a marathon for me. Very subjective of course.
