It was good to finish, that I can agree with.............I managed to visit 5 other churches before I found All Saints yesterday, wish I taken my I-Spy book.

The only time I needed the instructions was at Lulworth, and in the final mile or so around that castle jobber and through Swanage.
Funny, I only needed the instructions at Salisbury in the final mile or so too.

I think I found at least 3 of those churches too paul. Only place I got lost was in Swanage. For about ten minutes I think.
I really enjoyed the day, though it was quite tough. Having done the Lakeland 50 really put it in perspective nicely though - I knew I'd done much harder stuff in the dark, so it was lovely to just enjoy being out in the sunshine enjoying the scenery at this one.
The sunburn looks a bit silly today though. I didn't take suncream as I had to carry everything with me and thought it wasn't worth the weight so decided against it. Won't make that mistake again.

Boston for me too
Not quite sure about fueling for Boston though. It is 1 mile laps. I normally carry a camalbak waist thing for marathons and beyond (Boston is 6 hours) as I like to sip regularly. Would I look stupid doing that for a lap event? If I can only have a drink every mile that means either a quick sip as I pass or it means stopping to have a good glug, if I do that every mile I am going to waste lots of time!!!
For food I was thinking of picking something up from my box every third lap/mile after about an hour, was also thinking of having a couple of bottle of coke/energy drink to carry round with me on some of the laps.
Does this all sound a bit exessive?I have never done a lap thing like this before. If I was going out for a 6 hour run I woudl have a picnic hamper packed!! It just seems a bit strange to be having so much when only ever half a mile from home!!
