DeeGee Oct 2012 12:27pm, 3 Oct 2012 12,847 posts	Quote Pin DeeGee I have been looking, however, and noticed that i can actually get to Gin Pit for the first day of the double, from Grimsby Town, on the morning of the race itself (though I have to get up at 4 to do so), and can get to the start from Wigan or Manchester by public transport on the Sunday morning. I don't know whether that was by Malc's design, or just a happy coincidence... It means I can do the double for the same price as an overnight and big city marathon.

Car sharing could be encouraged more by organisers, who have access to folks' home address and have the possibility to put people in touch with each other.

Just because nobody else in my club's doing it, doesn't mean there aren't any Wolds Vets or Caistor running it. I'm going to run a huge PB/moderate PB/absolute personal disaster* at Mablethorpe *delete as appropriate.
