There will be a marathon in Hampshire on Saturday 17-December, so folk can double with Portsmouth on Sunday 18th (although that is not obligatory, you can do just one marathon in a weekend!). I have been presented with a choice of two courses - one is an athletics track and the other is a flat tarmac loop (i.e. laps). Both venues do require a fixed rental cost, so I need to choose one or the other and then get enough folk along to cover that cost. The questions then are simple: 1. Are you seriously tempted to enter? 2. Track or Tarmac Loop?
