Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry to hear that Gobi. I can only imagine how gutted you must feel. I really hope they manage to treat it as quickly as possible so you can get back to running. Take care. xx

Well done to all who completed more marathons at the weekend. A mere 10K for me but will be back next weekend with my first ever back to back. Really excited about it but a bit nervous which is daft watching Foxy et al doing their ten in ten. Next weekend should get me up to 32, then got Edinburgh two weeks later and three in June to look foraward to. I should be able you wannabes next spring.

Hope everyone with injuries recovers quickly.

Gobi, really sorry to hear the news about the injury bench and Comrades. Hope you recover soon and come back even stronger than before....

Jon, I know what you mean, I'm nervous of my first double and it does seem crazy compared to the TiTs! Luckily I'm feeling good after Halstead yesterday, if the foot holds out. Are there massages at White Peak? Think this is the key to a really quick recovery.

xrays have come back clear so Doctor believes it is Muscle and Tendon as first thought.

Advice - don't run until you can walk pain free

Oh and my favourite bit, RIDE THE BIKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT be careful standing on the pedals to climb and ice the leg when you get home.

I think I'd still like a bone scan or an MRI but at least from here I can keep my OCD in check.

Oh yeah and I can swim :¬0
