Thanks Np, is this to early to repost for the drunkards?
If you are just checking in scroll back up a little and you will discover all the delights about my forthcoming Llanelli track marathon.

Morning TT - afraid it is a wee bit close to Paris for me but have fun
Naomi - if you had run along the muddy canal last week you could have bumped into me

Ultra Kazzaaaaah!!
TT, have the Crawley/Sussex double that weekend but hope it goes well.
The hostel I found only allocates their private rooms on arrival so that's a bummer. Really don't want to be in a dorm room - that would take me way out of my comfort zone!

blackbird boy.
T T, maybe a little too far away for me at the moment.
I think track marathons are great , I'm sure you'll get plenty of runners Davy- I still don't know what to do for my 100th. I have got the Thames trot 50 next weekend and an ldwa marathon two weeks after that.
To tell you the truth i don't want to reach my 100th yet. I don't think I am mature enough.
I want to go back to over what I have done so far and maybe eliminate a few that I am not happy with.

I hope so BB, a little concerned am late getting it out there which as I said is why I am pinning a lot of hopes of the 100 club. Think maybe a good few relay teams to be honest.

Have just been thinking about this Terminator, it's a shame you're not putting your track mara on the following Saturday, on the 9th. That would have been the day before the Great Welsh marathon, in Llanelli, which may have pulled a few more potential doublers in. On the other hand, you may get more locals who prefer to do consecutive weeks. Broad as it's long I guess.
BB, come and help me, Foxy and Anna bring the average age of the 100 club down a bit

agree with N there, it is worth the trip all the way to L for a double but a bit far just for one. Having said that , I think I am targetting london as a pb so wont be doing anything that weekend

I can see the logic but it wasn't until I got charity places for Brighton and London both on the same day that I thought about it, and I certainly didn't want to do a doubler, so this was the only option.

Naomi - the Anchorage "Midnight Sun" Marathon doesn't quite do what it says on the tin... the days are very long in the summer - about 20 hours of daylight. However the race is held at normal time (i.e. 9am stat) so it's not really relevant how long the days are!
The summers are pretty warm in Anchorage - most days I was there it was almost 30degC. We got lucky on race way with overcast cloud and drizzle. The air is remarkably clean so it's really a nice place to run. Most of the race is through forests, and almost half on gravel tracks. You would most likely get a tan!
The Tromso Midnight Sun Marathon is much more accurate in its description. It is further North so the days are even longer and their marathon starts more appropriately at 8pm!
