100 different fruits and vegtables for 2019

Actually I think it would be reasonable for rule twoish to be about 40g - wouldn't claim someone hadn't eaten, say, a clementine because they hadn't eaten two. Though if Chris's meal from the previous page was a full qualifier … he must have had an awfy big plate ;-).

My initial list then from what I can recall so far:

Onion, carrot, parsnip, cauliflower, green peas, courgette, peppers, tomato, lettuce, haricot beans, apple, orange, kiwi, cherries, grapes, clementine, mango.

Hmm, only seventeen. Could be more but I'm not sure if some things were this year or the tail end of 2018.

Credit to NDWDave for the original 2017 thread by the way, remiss of me not to mention that before.

As a veggie most of my meals are plant based, but I'm guessing I'll find it easy to get to 40 or 50 items and then wonder what else there is?!!

Previously:
Chick pea, Lettuce, Rocket, Tomato, Beetroot, Red pepper, Radish

Since then, other meals have included:
Broccoli, Carrot, Green beans, Peas
Avocado
Potato, Turnip, Onion, Green lentils
Sweet potato, Mushrooms, Spinach

Snacks have included:
Clementine, Banana, Apple, several Lemons in tea (trying to get over a cold...) and I've also had a few portions of Peanuts if they're allowed?

Add raspberry, blueberry, date, fig, satsuma, peach and red lentils to:

Onion, carrot, parsnip, cauliflower, green peas, courgette, peppers, tomato, lettuce, haricot beans, apple, orange, kiwi, cherries, grapes, clementine, mango.

Up to 36 now. I've had a veg risotto and shepherd(less) pie which added a few more.

I also had a curry the other evening and chose an okra dish for a change.

That is likely to be the only time I have okra this year - it is quite a distinct flavour...

Okra! Not had any in ages. Nior indeed seen any.

I can now add nectarine, satsuma, pear, plum, apricot, peach, bamboo shoots, mushroom, aubergine.

Total 33. Few more I've had not quite enough of yet to count Then it might get a bit harder

Romanesco - it's like a green cauliflower..!

I added guava fruit to my list yesterday. Not sure I've had it before. A subtle flavour but pleasant enough.

Not much progress. Avocado, chickpeas and okra (which I undercooked completely).
