It's 4 weeks on Saturday until I run with the Olympic Torch in Burton-upon-Trent ... you never know, we might have a Yah/Nah by then too.

I received my letter from Aly at beginning of July last year so probably the same this year. 80 people had requested application forms, that doesn't mean necessarily, that 80 application forms have been officially received already. I will probably not be applying so best of luck to those that do. Words cannot fully describe the experiences I have had and there are no other comparisons to this event.
The Quadzilla, the Ultras, the off-road coastal path ones, the 100 milers, Comrades............ They are all different, I can only assure you of one thing and one thing only.....The Brathay Trust 10in10 is UNIQUE !

indeed expressing an interest isn't the same as applying & I know of one person not appplying as ski-ing in January, but I also know of folks who have only decidded to appply in the week since the 10.

Purely out of interest at this stage, how long is 'training' for the TiT? A single marathon plan for example is typically 12-16 weeks.

BigJ - the training for 10-in-10 should all be about making the distance a non-issue, and training the body to recover.
And there are as many approaches to *that* as people who have done the event
