Chorley Runners is a social running group formed in October 2016, based at Astley Park, Chorley, Lancashire. It follows on from the highly successful Chorley Council Couch to 5K (C25K) program that has been running since January 2015.
Our objective is offer a number of regularly scheduled running sessions suitable for all runners, including those who have completed a C25K course. Our aim is to make running a fun and social activity which keeps us all fit.
ALL of the running sessions are suitable for those people just completing the Couch to 5k. Most of the sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are focused on keeping you running and last approximately 30 minutes - the distances may vary depending on the mix of people who turn up but the groups all loop at regular points to ensure NO ONE is left behind.
