Derwent Valley Trail Runners was started off by a group of like minded individuals who just love to run on the trails. We believe that we are all free spirits and adventurers at heart and the countryside is there to be enjoyed by everyone. Technique Tuesday
Every Tues 7-8pm DVTR host an hour long coaching session with Philip Morris (CiRF). These sessions will focus on the running techniques required to navigate all the obstacles trail runners face from steep uphills and tricky downhills to long endurance racing and if you're still up for it sprint finishes!!

Thursday night club run
Our weekly 'club' run takes place on a Thursday at 6:30pm from the main car park (in front of the Surgery) the routes vary but will always be mainly on the trails with the emphasis being on exploring the beautiful Derwent Valley. We pride ourselves on being a truely inclusive club everyone is welcome to join us and nobody gets left behind.
