About The Club
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY RUNNING CLUB TO RUN WITH THEN LOOK NO FURTHER ! WE WELCOME RUNNERS OF ALL ABILITIES. COME AND RUN WITH US ON A TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY EVENING - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE TO JOIN AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT HOW FAST OR HOW FAR YOU CAN RUN. WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SEE YOU.based in Chard, Somerset, England. Affiliated in 1981 we have a mixed membership of about 50 members, plus a number of club supporters.

wednesday night club runs. two groups go out. fast and slow groups so if you are new to running please feel free to join us on a friendly runout. meet 7p at the cricket ground.

Sunday
There is a regular Sunday run at 08:00 starting at Chard Schools Out car park - address Clare House, Millfield, Chard, Somerset, TA20 2DA. Route and distance for this run is not usually set in advance - those that turn up decide this on arrival. Typically around 1 hour 30 minutes, although some opt for longer, especially in January, February and March prior to spring marathons.
