Chineham Park Running Club (CPRC) formed in the summer of 2009 and is a very friendly and supportive group of people who are interested in improving their running and general fitness. We welcome new members of all abilities.

Club Sessions
Wednesday
We meet at 7pm outside Basingstoke Fitness First Gym, Spindlewood, Stag Oak Lane, Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG24 8RN.
The club evening is every Wednesday at 7pm at the Basingstoke Fitness First Gym. This is organised and run by an experienced running coach and include regular time trials, sprints, intervals, hills and fartlek sessions. All the training we should be doing to increase speed and strength, but don’t like to do alone!

Saturday
We also regularly meet on Saturday mornings at 9am to undertake longer runs around the business park and surrounding housing estates. The length of the run is decided by the runners that turn up!

Sunday
The Club encourages members to undertake various local and major road running events held on Sundays for the fun of the challenge and to raise money for charity.
Members of the CPRC group have already completed local 5km, 10km, 10mile, half marathon and full marathon road races. Group members are currently training towards building their fitness to take part in the 2014 Basingstoke, Fleet and Reading Half Marathons and Virgin Money London, Brighton, Snowdonia and Beachy Head Marathons.
