Athletes of all abilities and standards are welcome at Wallsend Harriers. We currently have an active core of both male and female runners who attend club nights, of all abilities, and ranging in age from 12 to 69.
We provide opportunities for club members to train under the guidance of UK Athletics-qualified coaches, and to participate in many local competitions – in road races, cross-country and multi-terrain races and in track & field athletics. There is no pressure on members to compete - a number of active members continue to use the club to simply maintain a level of fitness and health. Training is structured around three groups to ensure we cater for all athletes and abilities.
