Thanet Roadrunners AC are a road running and athletics club, based in Thanet (Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and surrounding areas). Established in 1982, the club is now firmly established as one of the leading junior athletics clubs in Kent. You will see us racing at other events across the county of Kent, the country and worldwide. We compete in Road Racing, Cross Country, Junior Athletics. We also put on a number of races each year, which have been praised for their organisation, scenery and value for money.
We are a friendly club and we cater for all standards of athletes from those vying for national rankings to those who are in it for fun. So whatever your ability, don't be put off. We appreciate that the hardest part of all is knowing how to get started and joining a running club can be a daunting prospect for many. That’s why our club has a friendly ethos and is completely welcoming for complete beginners, those relatively new to running, those who want to get back into running or those experienced runners who might have moved into the Thanet area.
