A friendly, informal running club based in Saffron Walden. We meet on Tuesday at LBLC for an 8.00pm club run which is either a 6.5M circuit of the town in the winter or one of the many glorious off-road routes in the summer. Sprints / hills / intervals happen on Thursdays @ 7.30pm again from LBLC.
The club competes in a winter cross country league with Ware Joggers, Bishop Stortford Running Club and Harlow Running Club. In the summer, there is a 5K midweek league with C&C, Newmarket and Haverhill.
In 2007, the club entered 2 teams in the Turing Relay and an amazing 6 teams in the Hereward Relay.
Christmas is celebrated by the club members dressing in an appalling selection of seasonal attire and decorations as they participate in their now famous 'tinsel run' around the town.
New members of all abilities are always welcome.
