The Club Was Formed In 1982,And Though It Is Still Relatively Small Compared With Many Clubs – And Has No Facilities Of Its Own – It Constantly Punches Above Its Weight In Competitions. In Road, Cross-Country And, Increasingly, On The Fells The Club’s Men And Women Have Achieved Considerable Success, Winning Awards At National And GB Level. The Club Has Also Staged Major Competitions For Which We Have Been Highly Praised.
We Remain, However, A Very Friendly, Sociable Club, Happy To Encourage Any Complete Beginners To Join Us. We Pride Ourselves On Our Club Spirit, Which Shines Through – And Is Often Commented Upon – At Events.We Organise Two Races Annually.
Come Along And Give It A Go – You’ll Enjoy It And No Matter What Standard Of Runner You Are, We’ll Accommodate You.
