These swimming links provide a variety of articles, pictures and videos about how to swim front crawl better - I've built them up over the last year of improving my swimming for tri:

There are some swim drills listed in "The Triathletes Training Diary" and a few other tri books I now own - some other peeps have recommended the "swim workouts in a binder" but some others have dissed it!
The BBC Sport Academy has some excellent videos - e.g. Mark Foster is my coach - Link (roll over me to see where I go)
Swimming videos galore of "proper swimmers" in competition at Link (roll over me to see where I go)

This one shows some excellent slow mo training videos - check out Thorpedo from all angles - Link (roll over me to see where I go) - special note for me (Hollywood) - look at his head angle (mine always points to the bottom of the pool...)
This woman has a very very very annoying voice but seems OK for short snappy videos... Link (roll over me to see where I go)
And if you need to buy kit then.... www.swimshop.co.uk is normally quite good - watch out for 2.50 off every 25 quid you spend. Also I buy goggles at Tescos - very good for the price!
