Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.
About this parkrun
Two laps, flat with two little hills each lap. 22m elevation gain. Firm paths through a pretty park by a stream. Out and back so overtaking can be tricky. Small pay & display car park by the start. Coffee kiosk. Big pay & display half a mile away.Bramble 2nd Feb 2019
2 laps of a flat course with 4 minor hills. Very scenic and lovely cafe at park entrance

Winter course. Double out and back all on tarmac paths in a lovely park. Pay and Display but very cheap 30p for 2 hours on a Saturday.

Two lapper with a hill at each end. Seems to be on when others aren’t.

Small car parks at park but big pay and display nearby. 2 laps with small hill at each end, good paths and lovely stream in park. Cafe and toilets in park.

Busy two lap out & back course mainly on gravel. 2 short sharp climbs each lap, otherwise flat/rolling. Limited parking near the start (about 30p for 2 hours) but nearby on street parking. Loos (for a small charge) and a nice coffee/snack booth.
