Oscar's Everyone Day
23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

My first Parkrun for 6 years and my first organized event since Sept 2019 (thanks COVID!)
Really enjoyed it. Very popular (possibly a record number of entrants today?). Good atmosphere, friendly and encouraging marshalls, scenic route, beautiful day!

Flat/fast but narrow start! 2 laps around a beautiful park on hard-packed gravel paths. Not easy to park near but can park n ride or park in Westgate and do a 2Km warm up. Toilets in the park near the start. cafe recommended has a discount!
