Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

About this parkrun
Two short laps over mixed terrain (tarmac/grass) followed by a grass loop. Flat course, couple of humps to negotiate. Surprisingly tough course considering the profile. Small field, seems friendly.Mr J 28th Jul 2019
Flat on waste land near the start then grass tracks around fields and alongside a wooded copse, some views of the airfield and the surrounding flat fields.

Depends which time of the year you go. Winter course up & down the runway then the up & down the trail road. Summer course a lap of the wooded loop at end of runway then two laps of mixed grass/trail. Plenty of free parking. Coffee/breakfast onsite
