Oscar's Everyone Day

23rd June 2024
In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

ClaireT With it being my first week back to running after injury, I was worried it would flare up again today as I'm not in the clear yet - so I'm delighted to have made it round in one piece, and in a semi-decent time. It is strange running a race and not racing it though. Like the new course. Finished in the prizes, 6th lady! edso90 sub 50 would be ideal but don't bet on it! That went beter than expected on a mildly undulating course. Shiny PB by a good bit. Edinburgh Athletic Club 41:43 48:40 49:59 48:40 57.64

Steve69 After a slow start (due to sheer numbers of runners) I was very pleased to get a new PB. jogscotland 54:53 54:53 56:19 48.30
Stovies Brilliant fun for a run. Nice day for it and beat my 9yr younger wee bro, father-in-law and an exUSMarine (wifes cousin). Cannae wait for next year. Bit on the dear side is the only grump. Would forego the post run jewellery for a cheaper entry free. Unaffiliated 50:01 55:31 1:00:00 55:31 47.62

Ulric Lost 30s in the bottleneck up the hill, 1st km took 5:07. After that pretty similar pace to June race so the 45:17 here was identical to the previous 44:40.
