Oscar's Everyone Day
23rd June 2024In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March, so I'd like to dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.
About this parkrun

2 1/2 flat laps on Grass and tarmac a fast course when dry but can be slippy on the off road sections after rain. Cafe & toilets in the park & a small car park right next to the start/finish, if you are there early enough to get a space

Well kept and lovely park , mixture of tarmac, stone and grass paths, very flat. Free car park right next to start along with toilets and cafe. Friendly volunteers, lovely run.

2.5 laps of a real park. Combination of tarmac and grass and luckily not too muddy. Not too many people there and nice friendly atmosphere. Good cafe for breakfast afterwards 😊

2.5 laps of an old fashioned well kept park.Grass and tarmac. Gets muddy in a couple of places after a few days of heavy rain. Cafe and toilets usually open before the run. Decent cakes available. Good, friendly atmosphere. Not too congested with a fast f

Really lovely course, flat with mixed terrain. I did it in summer and the grass was OK, I imagine it can be a bit muddy. Cafe was a bit crap, not many food options but a nice location. Parking right by the start/finish. Defo recommended.
